Summerslam 2013 Results

SummerSlam 2013 was this year’s most anticipated WWE pay-per-view. The card was chock full of entertaining matchups, and wrestling enthusiasts all over the world were ready to see the results of this years SummerSlam. WWE did not spare any expense to ensure that their second-largest PPV of 2013 would be an unforgettable show. The monumental match between Brock Lesnar and CM Punk along with the championships that were on the line really bolstered the SummerSlam card while proving that PPV was worthy of its moniker. SummerSlam 2013 really prove to be the biggest wrestling’ party of the summer this year, and the results of all matches from the PPV can be found below.
– Bray Wyatt vs. Kane (Ring of Fire Match)
Prediction: Bray Wyatt wins.
Result: Bray Wyatt Defeated Kane.
The cryptic star made an impressive PPV debut, scoring a win over Kane in this ring of fire match. For weeks, Kane had been the target of vicious attacks from Bray Wyatt and his family, and on Sunday, his brothers helped him to take home the victory.
– Cody Rhodes vs. Damien Sandow
Prediction: Cody Rhodes wins.
Result: Cody Rhodes Defeated Damien Sandow
After being the World Heavyweight Money in the Bank ladder match by his former best friend, Cody Rhodes finally redeemed himself by defeating Damien Sandow at this year’s SummerSlam. Despite the victory, their feud is far from over, and certainly great things will be achieved by both men in the WWE.
– Alberto Del Rio (C) vs. Christian (World Heavy Weight Championship Match)
Prediction: Alberto Del Rio retains the title.
Result: Alberto Del Rio Defeated Christian
This was probably Christian’s career’s last title opportunity, and unfortunately he was not able to capitalize and end Alberto Del Rio’s heel run as champion. Del Rio has a very interesting heel gimmick and he is a good in-ring worker. However, even though predictions came true, fans were not impressed and this may as well the current champion’s last successful title defense.
– Brie Bella vs. Natalya
Prediction: Brie Bella wins.
Result: Natalya Defeated Brie Bella
Despite their frequent air time on Total Divas, Natalya has always been the show’s real star. The fan favorite diva used her sharpshooter submission finisher to defeat Brie on Sunday, thus, providing her wrestling ability.
– Dean Ambrose (C) vs. Rob Van Dam (United States Championship Match)
Prediction: Dean Ambrose retains the title.
Result: Dean Ambrose Defeated Rob Van Dam
This was the perfect match to go hardcore. Both Dean Ambrose and Rob Van Dam are two independent legends in the wrestling business and watching them face off in the ring was a treat for the WWE Universe. The match was amazing, and since Van Dam is a WWE veteran, it was natural for him to help put Ambrose over, and thus, the younger wrestler retained his title via disqualification.
– Brock Lesnar vs. CM Punk (No DQ Match)
Prediction: Brock Lesnar wins.
Result: Brock Lesnar Defeated CM Punk
Brock Lesnar’s winning ways continue as he defeated CM Punk on Sunday with a pin fall victory, though Paul Heyman interfered in the match several times. This was probably one of this year’s best matches. This no disqualification bout was brutal, with Lesnar always having the upper hand and CM Punk being the underdog as many times in the past.
– Dolph Ziggler and Kaitlyn vs. Big E. Langston and AJ Lee
Prediction: Dolph Ziggler and Kaitlyn Defeated Big E Langston and AJ Lee.
Result: Brock Dolph Ziggler and Kaitlyn win.
This was probably one of SummerSlam’s most convoluted matches and Dolph Ziggler and Kaitlyn scored a clean pinfall to win the match and defeat Big E Langston and AJ Lee. The match was indeed interesting, but would not have been supported by the fans had it not been an intergender match.
John Cena (C) vs. Daniel Bryan with HHH as Special Guest Referee (WWE Championship Match)
Prediction: Daniel Bryan wins the WWE Championship.
Result: Daniel Bryan Defeated John Cena
Daniel Bryan’s dream finally came true on Sunday when he defeated John Cena to win the WWE Championship and cement his status as one of WWE’s top dogs. It was a good move from WWE to give the title to Bryan, since Cena would be out of action due to an elbow injury. However, although he has become a megastar, Bryan’s victory was shortlived.
Daniel Bryan (c) vs. Randy Orton (WWE Championship)
Result: Randy Orton Defeated Daniel Bryan
After the vicious battle, Daniel Bryan was least likely to stand a chance and the viper struck by cashing in his Money in the Bank briefcase, and as of now, Randy Orton is the WWE Champion.
This concludes the results of this years SummerSlam, an interesting main event that set the stage for upcoming WWE shows and PPVs.

Night of Champions (2013)

The moment WWE federation announced it’s 2013’s biggest Pay Per View Event “Night Of Champions” all the fans have been eagerly waiting for news about the date, venue, matches and other announcements. WWE Federation was being very secretive about its event matches but somehow most of the fans knew what matches could take place. Finally, its official, Nights of Champions will go live on September 15th, Sunday at 8 Pm Eastern time. This event will be broadcasted live from Joe Louis Arena (Detroit, Michigan). As this event is a pay per view service, to access this event contact your cable services provider or you can order the event over WWE.com or you can also watch the live event at any of the WWE’s Blast area.

There are huge matches set-up and people’s expectation are very high. With building hype and drama between the audiences, this show has been predicted to become one of the most watched live events ever, till date. So here is a sneak preview of the event for you:

1) Miz VS Fandango – A pre-event match where Fandango will take revenge from Miz for interrupting his show at Summer slam and for bashing that former champ gave him. There are no titles up for the competition but that is what makes this match more interesting. They both have great potential and the best time to shine. Prediction: It is kind of very difficult but somehow it feels like Fandango might just win from the former champ.

2) Randy Orton (champ) VS Daniel Bryan – This was easily the most predictable match up for this event, especially after summer slam. Randy snatched the title from Daniel and it was a great match to watch. However this match does promises more excitement then the number of blows to the head that each of them is going to get. Prediction: No matter how much we would wan Daniel to win, somehow feel like Randy Orton will retain the title. (TITLE: WWE CHAMPIONSHIP)

3) Rob Van Dam VS Dean Ambrose (champ) –Great exciting match, where Dean Ambrose will give everything to retain the title. On the hand if the last fight had not been interrupted then RVD would already have the title by now. Prediction: Dean Ambrose retaining the title. This will go for another rematch. (TITLE: UNITED STATES CHAMPIONSHIP)

4) Alberto Del Rio (champ) VS Christian – A rematch after their last fight where Alberto retained. Prediction: This might be tricky but seems like Christian will win the title. (TITLE: WORLD HEAVY WEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP)

5) Big Show with Mark Henry VS The Shield (champ) – It would be interesting to see how The Shield perform in front of two strongest men in WWE. Prediction: The Shield retaining title. (TITLE: TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP)

6) Natalya VS AJ Lee (champ) – This is a great shot for Natalya to go for the title however AJ could easily retain her title. Prediction: AJ LEE wins. (TITLE: DIVAS CHAMPIONSHIP)

7) Cody Rhodes VS Damien Sandow: Damien show lost his match at the Summer Slam so this is the best way to regain the image. Prediction: Damien will win. (Money in the bank)

8) Curtis Axel (champ) defending Intercontinental Championship against a randomly chosen fighter. Prediction: Curtis retains his title.

There you go, not many titles but great matches and could be great surprises too. This was a sneak preview of the 2013 Night of Champions for you. Do not forgot to watch to see if the predictions matches the results.

TNA Bound for Glory Preview

We are just two months away from the Bound for Glory PPV in October, it seems like most people are decided with what the outcome would look like. So, here is a TNA Bound for Glory Prevoew that will make everyone wonder if all will really hail Sabin on the fated Sunday night.

Current Points

If you base your predictions solely on points, it would seem that Chris Sabin would likely face Magnus in October. But that is not really the case especially if you take the 50 year history of unexpected champions. The 39 points that Magnus presently holds could be slammed by other players that are still in the field. Remember the fight of Samoa Joe and Mr. Anderson, which ended up with Mr. Anderson being the winner? Well, look who’s on a higher scale now. Samoa Joe is roughly above him by two points.

It is very much reasonable then to argue that points would matter on almost every other sport aside frpm wrestling. Many would actually look up to the hard work of AJ Styles which is way beyond the tally of points.
Names and Reputations

The recent  ‘talk’ , well they would call it that way, of defending champion Sabin and Bully Ray on the former’s match did not go entirely well. Bully Ray just went climbing in the ring slammed both wrestlers and just went on to deliver his threats and swag. That is exactly what makes Ray a better champion in terms of appearances and attitude. You see, most champions are portrayed angelic and heroic most of the times, but not him. His bullying title and general appearance just knock the popular concept of the one who rightfully wears the belt.It would seem like a lion is the one taunting the deer with the crown. Of course many people would also cheer hard for Sabin once he’s standing at the ropes. His attitude also resembles a gentleman gone awry and presents himself with not too much of perky clothes. At least he’s not wearing purple briefs while lifting guys over his head. But why settle if there are other men who could totally live up to the expectations when it comes to appearances?

The story’s ending is very inconclusive right now. Going back to AJ Styles who was excluded from the Heavyweight Championship list, but he would still have every fan cheering for him every time. Style is not lying on the outskirts but instead lurking in the middle line. That could actually provide for a better conclusion where a satisfying wrestler rose up and went on to have his matchup for the belt and end the tale of the BFG series as the best one in all four corners of the ring.

Thus, it would not be much to dwell on points but rather on the character and the crowd that defines a lot of the path that most matches take. Last August 15, a free viewing of the matches was conducted for everyone to see. Most people would see it as spoilage of the WWE profits, but many more would think that the free viewing is a foreshadowing of what is coming to San Diego in October. Watch out folks, you wouldn’t know when someone could slam you from behind.

Night of Champions review

There is no denying that the weeks leading to the Night of Champions proved that the WWE can put together a strong build in the absence of John Cena. Even though the long time face of the company may be sidelined due to injury, at least for now, Randy Orton chipped in and filled the void. On Sunday 15th September, the WWE presented the Night of Champions, an event that was broadcast live from Joe Luis Arena in Detroit, Michigan. Even though Randy Orton was tipped to triumph, the biggest shock of the night was when Daniel Brayn was announced the winner in a perfect yet challenging bout.

In the World heavyweight Category, Champion Alberto Del Rio will square it out with Rob Van Dam. In a non-title match in early August, RVD beat Del Rio after the interference from Ricardo Rodriguez backfired. Del Rio was upset about the match that he attacked his personal ring announcer. A few weeks later, RVD once again walked out victorious in another non-title match. This time round, it was Ricardo who purposely caused Del Rio the match. The only logical way the title can change hands is when Van Dam gets some help from Rodriguez.

The other match that is likely to go down the wire is the one pitting Dean Ambrose and Dolph Ziggler. This is one match that will prove as a show-stealing potential. It will pit two superstars with immense talent out to show exactly why both have a bright future. Ziggler, however, has not been able to capitalize on his Money in The Bank matches, losing the World Heavyweight Title as well. However, he has since slid back, managing a number of wins. As such, it is only a matter of time before he gets up on his right foot again. Winning the title wouldn’t add much value to him anyway, as it doesn’t make sense to take the belt from Ambrose. This leaves Ambrose with everything to fight for.

The other feature that is also likely to steal the show is the Handicap Elimination Match between CM Punk and Intercontinental champion Cutis Axel and Paul Heyman. It starts as a 2-on-1 match where each member of Heyman’s team must tag in order to remain legal in the match. In the event that a member of the event loses, then it becomes a one-on-one match. CM Punk was in Heyman’s team before their relationship went sour. Since then, Punk hasn’t been able to win any Money in the Bank match, thanks to dirty tricks from his former manager.

In the Divas Championship category, the most anticipated match is between current champion AJ Lee versus Natalya Versus Brie Bella versus Naomi. The rules of the match dictate that the first diva to force her opponent to submit or score a pin fall will be crowned the champion. During a recent show, AJ insulted all Total Divas stars, something that could make this match a flaring one. This is one of the few Night of Champions matches that can go either way.

Battleground 2013 Results

Randy Orton and Daniel Bryan fought a tough in-ring match at WWE Battleground 2013 but there was no outright champion at this year’s event. Here is an analysis on main event. The announcers for Battleground 2013 were Michael Cole, JBL and Jerry Lawler.
At the beginning of the match, Bryan took Orton to the mat first and the pair traded holds. Orton dropped Bryan with his shoulder before they traded more holds on the mat. Then, Bryan pins Orton to the mat while he has him in submission and kicks in the corner row. He climbs up for a superplex before Orton crotches him from the top rope, clotheslining him and knocking him off the rope, resulting in Bryan toppling to the ground and falling to his head. At this point, Orton leads with a 2 count. Next, Orton mounts Bryan in the corner with his right hand and keeps control by working Bryan over in the corner. He performs a powerslam for 2 on Bryan. When Bryan leaps out with a suicide dive, Orton ends up on the ring floor, kicking against the barrier. Bryan pounds Orton into the barrier and finishes with a dropkick.
Later, the pair trade shots in the middle of the wrestling ring. The crowds roar as Bryan backslides Orton for a 2 count. Then, Orton is dropped to the floor with a kick to his head for 2 counts. Bryan tries to suplex Orton but he counteracts and knocks Bryan to the floor. Orton tries to powerbomb Bryan from the announcers table but Bryan slides and kicks back. He sends Orton into the steps and climbs to top, leaping out to Orton and then onto the floor. Later, Bryan applies the Yes Lock to Orton just before Big Show walks out to the ring. Big Show pulls the referee to his knees and the crowd boos him. Bryan stops the Yes Lock on Orton and asks Big Show what he’s doing. Show responds with a punch through the ropes. Brad Maddox then appears on stage and criticizes the referee Scott Armstrong. Big Show knocks Armstrong out with his fist. Show and Orton have words inside the ring before he Orton is knocked to the ground. Battleground goes off the air with Bryan and Orton still on the ground.
Other highlights from the event include the battle for ringside between Erick Rowan and Luke Harper. Bray Wyatt won the match, in part for hitting Sister Abigal. After the match, the Wyatt family knocked Kofi out which led to Bray giving a speech. In the Divas Championship, AJ Lee won against Brie Bella. Brie was joined in the ring by her sister Nikki while AJ Lee was supported by Tamina Snuka. In the match, AJ smashed Brie into the ring post before bending her arm. Brie came back but viewers were shocked when Tamina attacked Nikki outside the ring. Brie then went to attack Tamina which led AJ Lee to roll up from behind, bringing Brie to the ground and securing her win.

Hell in a Cell 2013 Preview

Hell in a Cell 2013 takes place on October 27 at Miami’s American Airlines Arena. Sponsored by WWE 2K14, this year’s event is the fifth annual Hell in a Cell and will host several matches featuring some of WWE’s most notorious stars.

The main event sees Randy Orton fight Daniel Bryan is the quest to find a winner in the WWE Championship after their last meeting resulted in a no contest at WWE Battleground. Previously, during the SummerSlam competition in August, Bryan defeated John Cena but was betrayed by Triple H who was refereeing the match, meaning Cena won the championship. Orton and Bryan fought again at the Night of Champions the month afair, with Bryan defeating Orton to reclaim the title, with the match outcome being based on a pinfall at the very last count. After the controversy surrounding WWE Battleground earlier this month, the audience were allowed to choose a referre for the match between Bryan and Orton. Shawn Michaels was chosen, after beating Bob Backlund and Booker T.

To kick off this year’s Hell in a Cell event, Curtis Axel will play Big E Langston in the singles match WWE’s Intercontinental Championhip. Other main matches include Alberto Del Rio fighting John Cena for the World Heavyweight Championship, CM Punk takes on Paul Heyman and Ryback for the Handicap title, while a Triple Threat tag team match will take place between Golust and Cody Rhodes versus Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns, versus Jey and Jimmy Uso. In the Divas Championship, Brie Bella will take on AJ Lee. This follows on from the Night on Champions where AJ Lee won against Brie Bella, as well as Naomi and Natalya to be awarded the Divas Championship. Later at WWE Battleground, Bella replayed Lee, but she lost when a unexpected appearance from Tamina Snuka occurred, when the latter attacked Bella’s sister Nikki, causing a distraction and letting AJ Lee win the match by default. In last week’s episode of Smackdown, the feud continued, with Bella defeating Lee in a fight. Then in the following episode of WWE Raw, Bella won against Lee again during an exciting tag team match. The kickoff match between Axel and Langston also has a long and violent history. In a recent episode of Smackdown, Langston lost to CM Punk. This year’s Hell in a Cell is a pay per view television event only, and the promotional poster for the event features R Truth. The official theme song for this year’s event is Out of Time by Stone Temple.

WWE TLC Betting

The World Wrestling Entertainment or WWE is one of the most popular entertainment shows in the USA and in the world. It is basically revolved around wrestling and we all love a good wrestling match. Especially when it is a good fight between two great wrestlers, fighters. In the heat of the battle it will be clear who is the better wrestler. That is the time when the one with the biggest heart, with the greatest courage, smarts will take down the opponent. But it is not easy as all of the wrestlers in the WWE are trained professionals and all of them train hard, eat hard, rest and wrestle hard. Every single one of them. There are no exceptions. Only the best of the best are competing in WWE and to really stand out means that you are among the best in the whole world. All of these athletes have been training and competing for years. Brutal years filled with a lot of straining, a lot of hard work, a lot of lost battles that filled them with even more motivation than ever, a lot of pain from the numerous injuries that they suffered in the heat of the battle. But all of that have made them, their bodies and their spirit tough as nails. The battles inside WWE rings leave everyone breathless. Chiseled physiques and sweaty bodies will collide against each other but only one can be standing, only one be victorious and only one can be a true champion. The crowd and fans, in the arenas and at home, can see and sense who is a true fighter. They will be loud and clear and they will be cheering for their favorite wrestler.

That is why on 15th of December you will experience something that will leave you with your mouth wide open. 5 incredible matches already and more to come that will literally blow your mind. You shall be amazed by the fierce battles that this fighters will provide you with while they are battling against each other with all their strength and heart.

The biggest match of the night is the match between Randy Orton and John Cena. This is one of the greatest rivalries in WWE history. Both of these wrestlers have started their careers in 2002 and since then they have been going at each other as hard as they could. That is over a decade of rivalry, something that is rarely seen in any type of individual sports let alone wrestling. This match will be all or nothing, this match is about the ultimate champion as John Cena is the heavyweight champion and Randy Orton is the WWE champion. The winner will be the unified champion, the true champion of all wrestling. The match will be a TLC one, TLC meaning tables, ladders and chairs. John Cena had a lot of injuries but in the end I think he is hungrier and it will be him the last man standing.

The rest is the Daniel Bryan and the Watts and CM Punk. This should be entertaining as well as it should be tough battles that could go either way.

Money in the Bank Betting Tips

The WWE Event Money in the Bank is ready to begin. There are predictions about what wrestlers will make it to the end and which ones will face elimination right away.

Ryback vs. Bray Wyatt for the Intercontinental Championship
Bray will not miss a shot for this championship game. He has been waiting for his chance at Ryback for several weeks now. There is an active feud between these two men and it is heating up. Many feel that Bray is going to be the winner but there is a gold medal on the line now.

New Day vs. Prime Time Players in the Tag Team Championship
This is the first tag team match for New Day and the Prime Time Players are going to be a tough challenge. This is going to be a match to watch with the Prime Time Players looking for their title show.

Paige vs. Nikki Bella in the Diva Championship
Nikki is coming off a winning streak defeating Naomi twice and even by a pin. It is Paige’s turn to try to stop Nikki Bella. Paige has an impressive record herself. She won the Battle Royal in London a couple of week ago and she has been put on as one of the main women in the WWE. This is going to be one of the most evenly paired matches but many feel that Nikki will come out ahead.

King Barrett vs. Mark Henry
King Barrett was not able to win the title at the Intercontinental Championship that was held at the Elimination Chamber. He for one the first time in his career is considered to be the underdog. Mark Henry is ready to return and has matched up with Barrett before. While Barrett has skill and will put on a good match for the crowd it is Mark Henry that is picked to win this match and star his comeback in the WWE.

Dean Ambrose vs. Seth Rollins in the No Disqualification WWE Championship
While this is going to be a close match many feel that Ambrose will take the title in this match. Ambrose will get his second attempt at the gold during this match and is not going to give it away to Rollins.

Rankings
There are some changes since this Elimination Chamber 2015 was announced and some new picks to come out on top. For many one of the biggest changes and surprises is Kevin Owens facing off against John Cena and even winning the match. Owens now is not one of the main WWE wrestles but he will be one to keep an eye on during this event. During the championship he has to face Cena again and Cena is not too happy with him.

While these rankings are predictions of how is going to win the match nothing is definite yet. Like anything else the rankings can change and the underdog can win the bout. A fan will just have to watch this championship event to see what wrestler will come out on top.
